Ft. Lauderdale & Key West

This summer, the McDonald-Saulitis clan headed back down to Florida to visit one of our favvvvvorite vacation spots. We started our trip by spending 2 nights at the LagoMar resort in Ft. Lauderdale. It was our first visit to the resort and it did not disappoint! The grounds of the hotel were gorgeous and there was A LOT to do. They had 2 pools, shuffleboard courts, beach volleyball and several delicious restaurants. Unfortunately, I was not yet in picture-taking mode, so I only have a few shots from this part of our trip.

After our short but sweet stay in Ft. Lauderdale, we drove down through the Florida Keys to our next destination, Key West! We visited Key West 3 years ago and stayed on the most gorgeous little island right off the coast of Key West called Sunset Key. We had such a great time that we decided to stay there again this year. It's the perfect balance between the peaceful pool and private beaches during the day, and the fun, loud party atmosphere of Duval St on Key West at night.

We had yet again another WONDERFUL vacation with my parents. It was so nice to get away from the real-world for awhile and soak up some rays and sip on some drinks. Thanks Mom & Dad for another great trip full of lifelong memories! Can't wait for next summer!
