WIW-Halloween Edition

Halloween is my favorite holiday. I love the idea of pretending to be someone or something else, if only for one day. I love seeing the kids' excitement over oodles of candy and costumes. Since it's my favorite holiday, I go all out. My house is decorated with ghoulish goblins, spooky skeletons and jeering jack-o-lanterns. I also dress for the holiday for an entire week. Here's a look into my fun-filled Halloween week...

Guilty Pleasures

My Hokie teacher friends Ashley and Meredith recently shared their most recent guilty pleasures. I figured I also have no shame and would be willing to share my fall fetishes. Judge me if you must...

Oreos and Milk
There is nothing better than sitting in your PJ's with a cold glass of milk and a package of oreo's. I am currently enjoying the Halloween edition of these delicious treats and am totally looking forward to the green and red versions that will soon be out for Christmas!

Reality TV
I always joke that networks should use me for their test audiences because I would literally like ANY reality TV show out there. I may not watch them all on a regular basis, but if any of them come on as re-runs and I have some free time,  I'll sit and watch just about anything.
Some of my absolute favorites are Big Brother, Real World, the RW/RR Challenges, Amazing Race, Survivor, 16 and Pregnant, Dancing with the Stars... I could go on :)

Sleeping
I love to sleep. I literally look forward to sleeping every single day. My job is exhausting, some days more than others. Days when I have a chance to take a nap are typically by FAR my favorite days of the week. And when I get to sleep in on the weekends?! Oh... it's heaven.

Looking at Children's Clothes
NO I do not want to have a child right now. I am too young. Too selfish. Too poor :) But as a kindergarten teacher, I can't help but see some of the adorable outfits my kids wear each day. Everytime I go to the mall, I have to check out the window display at Gymboree (I have been known to sneak in just to look a few times too :) I am so looking forward to the day when I get to shop for my own little ones at Gymboree- the cutest kids clothing store ever!

Viewing My Wedding Photos
I can't help it. Really, I can't. I must go through and look at our wedding pictures at LEAST once a week. It was just such an unbelievably PERFECT day and our photographer did such an incredible job capturing all of the beautiful moments. I am still not even close to being over our wedding- therefore, I look at the pictures to take me back to our day of love and perfection :)

Cox Farms Pumpkin Patch

Since Andy and I have moved out to the Centreville area a few years ago, we have made it an annual tradiiton to visit Cox Farms in October. It is an incredible farm that hosts a fantastic fall festival each and everyday from September to the beginning of November. We go to pick out our pumpkins and get fresh apple cider, but we also enjoy being kids for the day and visiting the farm animals, taking silly pictures, and enjoying the beautiful fall weather! Andy might not admit to it to others, but he also enjoys watching the little ones run around, go down the slides and take in all the fun too! I think we both definitely look forward to the day when we have our own little one(s) to take to Cox Farm in the fall. This morning, we headed out bright and early to beat the Saturday crowds.
I love the baby pigs!

WIWS?

So, clearly this was a busy week and I missed the Wednesday deadline for "What I Wore Wednesday" posts. And sadly, this is probably going to be my last WIW update as testing season has officially kicked off in kindergarten and I am drowning in work both at school and at home!
