Here's to Football...

Every fall at this time of year, the butterflies begin. My palms start sweating. My heart beats a little faster. And those butterflies. No, I'm not talking about going back to school (although that also brings physiological side effects), I'm talking about the kick-off of football season.

Now, we all know the story. I'm an only child, raised by two football-crazed parents. So naturally I inherited the competitive-must win-can't lose-footballislife gene. My mood is always altered in relation to the outcome of my football team's games. The only arguments Andy and I ever have are all related to football. Sad but true, and I figure if that's the worst we have- I'll take it everytime. So once again... the butterflies have begun upon the eve of Hokie Football season. Tomorrow I will venture to FedEx Field in Landover Maryland to watch my beloved Hokie take on the Boise State Broncos... as underdogs. Next weekend, I will once again be heading to FedEx Field to watch my Cowboys take on the Washington Redskins. Let the nerves begin...

Here's to hoping that all of my Hokies & Cowboys stay healthy, play hard, and succeed beyond all of my (and their) wildest expectations!
LET'S GO HOKIES & COWBOYS!!!
